Crazy Stupid Movie but loved it

Well, if you want to go see a lovely movie - go see "Crazy Stupid Love"!   Just my kind of movie.  Romantic comedy - the romantic part was full of  "AWWW" moments and quite heart warming and the comedy part was really funny, lots of laughs and lots of funny twists!  Loved it!

I did a bit of cutting out this afternoon - not much that is worth showing you photos of but just so you know the blue and white baby quilt I have to make is all cut out now.  I also cut out the bits I needed to finish a green scrappy golf themed quilt I am making for charity.  Another couple of my favourite Japanese lunch bags made it off the cutting table and finally I cut the last pieces I needed to complete several Christmas potholders I am sewing for Ireland.

I have quilted four and made all the hangers and bindings for all of them.  Hopefully I will finish them tomorrow.  I have set myself a mission to see how many more items I can finish for Ireland before Monday or Tuesday.  After that I will package everything up and set them on their way.  Then I am going to sit down and start making a list of things to send next year!

Till next time......happy stitching!

  1. It does feel great to start making progress on projects. I do find that once they get from the cutting table things do move forward quite quickly.

  2. Sounds like my kind of movie!
Next year!!?? wow that is planning ahead...I have trouble planning to next week LOL!

  3. You put me to shame with how productive you are! (And to think you still have teenagers at home!!!)

  4. Sounds like you are making great progress. Glad you found time to fit in quick movie though, it is nice to slow down a bit from time to time.

  5. I am so glad you enjoyed your movie. It always feels good to have a good laugh. The fabrics in your pot holders is great. I love the red and green stockings. CUTE!
