Still going on the backing for Bruce's quilt that is. I am still not going to tell you what I am doing but here is another sneak peak -
One more sewing session and I think I should have all the letters finished and then I need a day when I can concentrate to put the whole back together. Monday hopefully. I think I am almost as excited about finishing the back of the quilt as much as I was about finishing the front. I have a pretty clear vision in my head - I really want to see it on the fabric!
One vision that I have finally got on fabric recently and which I am really pleased about is my Christmas quilt. And lookeeeeee!
It is hanging in my local quilt shop - Country Pickin's at the Corner. It is a great shop with lovely ladies working there, great teachers and lovely ladies who sew there as well. Anyway I was asked if they could display my quilt for a while seeing as it features lots of blocks from the Quilt Retreat Class that I did with Amanda Daly. I played it very cool and said sure but really what a compliment!

I still find it strange to look at this quilt and realise that I made it because I don't work on quilts like this normally but, gee am glad that I did!
Well, that is it for me tonight - time for a good night's sleep so I can get lots done tomorrow.
Till next time..........Happy stitching!
Great job on your Christmas quilt! And for all to see. Enjoy reading your blog.....
