Way back when my boys were only about four or five my Mum said that she had heard that the next big thing in kids books was this series about a boy wizard....Harry something....and the rest is history. We both decided to buy one copy of the books each so that we could both read them and then there would be a set each for the boys when they were old enough. I got hooked on the first one and then devoured them all as they came along.
This is a little Guitar Hero with Lego Hagrid at Legoland - and he would kill me if he knew I posted this. Sshh Don't tell him!
When my boys got older they listened to the books on CD, then read the books, saw the movies, dressed up as Harry. Finally the last movie. Fly Boy went to see it with friends and Guitar Hero refused - he is too cool! Very sad! And now tonight my husband I went to see it. Great movie. Great ending. Just very sad it is the end of an era and I feel the way I do when I get to the end of a really great book - I just don't want it to end!
At least this helped to soften the blow - a tutti fruiti waffle at Max Brenner's - seriously YUM!!!
This is the only sewing I managed to get done today but it is never the less important sewing. These are marble bags and will be included in some Samaritan's Shoeboxes that a few of my friends and I are filling for children in Vietnam. I have four made and four to go.
Hope all is well with you all. Till next time.....happy stitching!

And it tasted every bit as yum as it looks!

My son loves Harry Potter as well. He has all the books and movies. We have not gone to see that last movie yet. Guess we are a little behind. But what a treat after the movie mmmm.
