Still time.......

Blog Hop Party

There is still time to get in on the giveaway action on my blog for the Blog Hop - go and check it out and while you are in the mood make sure you check out the other Blogs taking part in the Blog Hop.

I can't show you some of what I did today.  I was woken up by a really heavy down pour and when i couldn't get back to sleep I decided that i might as well get to work.  I managed to get one of the two quilts I am making for Christmas quilted and trimmed.  Now I just need to find the right shade of a certain colour for the binding.

I can also show you the apple muffins I made today.  It is hair cut day tomorrow and I pay in baked good so this is tomorrow's fee.  I haven't typed up the recipe yet but if anyone wants it let me know and I will pass it on to you.
And this is what I have spent the bulk of today doing.......Remember these........
 They now look like this
As you can see I still have to finish a few but the last of them at ready to have the satin stitch done around the edge and the button and ribbon sewn on.  It is just too late tonight!  I am trying to finish any presents that need to be posted by Wednesday or Thursday - I am nearly there (that includes your blocks too Celia).

I am about ready to start tidying my sewing room.  The clutter is beginning to get to me!  I am not a clean freak but I do like organised - as soon as I finish my Christmas stuff I will allocate some time each day to tidying, sorting and culling!

Till next time......happy stitching!

  1. Your little ornaments are adorable. I can't work in a cluttered area either - I start to feel claustrophobic and just bleh and blocked and not very happy...
