So far so good. I have finally managed to get a bit more to show for my purple month of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Today I finished the main 32 blocks for my design and get them trimmed and on the design wall.
Hopefully tomorrow I will get these blocks finished and get them on the design wall. After that they will have to wait till the next Scappy Saturday to be put together coz I really need to do some other sewing!

Each block is 6 1/4 inches this just about used all my purple scraps. So what is a girl to do - I had to cut some more strips and make the blocks needed to fill in. I am about two thirds of the way there but that is it for me tonight. Time for a rest. I can't do too much cutting or ironing at one time or my hands and arms get sore - the joys of arthritus and getting old (and I am not even 50 yet! Bah Humbug!)

I like a red and purple combination, of course red and purple are my favorite colors. Reminds me of the "Red Hat Ladies." You have good scraps. Very pretty. Be kind to your hands, you want to keep working with them.
