Slow and steady wins the race -

Well, slow and steady is the way to go when sewing the turtle anyway!  This is what I spent most of my available time working on today.  I had all the pieces ready to go yesterday but I wanted to save all the stitching till this morning when I was fresh.  Meet Belvedere the red side-necked turtle.  This quilt will end up being A3 six once it is completed, just the right size for a young turtle one would think!

I am not sharing this on Aussie Heroes coz I don't want to risk the fellow who requested it seeing it before it arrives in Afghanistan.  FSU is the name of the Unit that Belvedere is the Mascot for and the unit colours are red, yellow and blue.
I have a hectic afternoon/evening of Mum's taxi duties to fulfil so no more time to linger here.  Never mind, I will be back tomorrow.

Till next time..............happy stitching!
