Decision Made - Almost Happy Now!

Decision made!!!  Finally decided what to do to complete my round on Debbie's Round Robin Quilt.  I tried the floral with a blue as well.  Loved it - or thought I did.  Kept looking and thinking and tried an aubergine which actually turned out to be a grey when I got it home and looked at it again.  That didn't work so i had a re-think.  One advantage of having to snooze all the time is plenty of thinking time.  I always design quilts in my head, or work out how i am going to make whatever my next project is in my head when I go to sleep so I slept on it and this is what I came up with.......if you don't like the direction you are heading .........
change direction
So, now I am almost happy - just have to get over this bug and I will be all the way there!
Ho Hum, bedtime.........again.........
Happy stitching!

  1. It looks great - I very often get ideas or solutions to problems while I soak in the bathtub!

  2. Your selections look great! Another tie that binds us quilters...so many of us think up ideas in our sleep. It's a wonder we get any rest at all! Now I keep a little notebook by my bed for those grand ideas I get in the middle of the night so I won't forget by morning!

  3. Wow! I'm glad to hear that others figure out their quilting problems in their sleep as well! My mom and I both plan out quilts in our sleep as well!

Love the tea cups, by the way!

  4. I'm not sure if I've ever planned any quilts in my sleep, but they invade my thoughts as I'm trying to go to sleep and they often fill my dreams. I love it!
    Your teacups are sweet.

  6. I like the color choice you made. A nap always helps us to see brighter when we wake up.
