Send some, receive some.....yippee!!!!

Hi all,
I am a happy girl today!  This morning I went to the post office and picked up a whole heap of tough bags and padded bags and boxes as I had a few things to package up for various things.  One thing I package up today was my parcel of goodies for the Quilting Bloggers Mug Rug Swap!  I showed you the two mug rugs that I made here but here are the other goodies I included.
I have kookaburras that visit my backyard regularly and I love it so I included one on one of my mugrugs and then I saw this coffee mug and it was meant to be!  The mug rug goes in the box and I filled it with the chocolates (of course!)  and a finger pin cushion - that is it sitting on the box but I didn't realise that it doesn't show up well in the photo!  And finally I included the buttons!
These are ceramic and they are ECHIDNAs!  How cute huh!  Well i think so and I sure hope that my swap partner thinks so!
And this is what was in my mailbox today!  Did I tell you I love receiving parcels!   Celia from Quilting by Celia and I are doing an extra little swap in conjunction with the Rainbow Scrap Challenge (see the button!) Each month I send Celia four five inch star blocks and Celia sends me four five inch crumb blocks in the colour of the month.  This month is red.  This month Celia has included two little stitcheries - one for last month and one for this month!  Aren't they cute!!!  I love stitcheries but I don't do them myself so I am going to love seeing what Celia does each month!  Thankyou Celia!!!  So far she has beaten me to the postman two out of two.  Well, she will be waiting a bit longer this month.  I have been trying to decide what to make and send along with her blocks and now after seeing the stitcheries that Celia will be sending me each month she has given me an idea - actually a few too many ideas - and the struggle will be deciding which idea to go with!

Till next time.......happy stitching!
