Ooohh I have really wanted to say that for ages and now I have one!!! A design wall that is! And what is on it?
This quilt is all Aussie fabrics and is headed overseas (more on that later) once completed. I am generally pleased with it but the beauty of a design wall, as you all probably know is that you can look at the quilt before you stitch it together and can stand back and think about it. I have decided that there are a few blocks that do not have enough variation between light and dark so I am going to replace those before I go any further! As well as making this quilt, which is a collaborative with my quilt group buddies, The Gumnut Quilters, I plan to make some pot holders, aprons, and bags.....and anything else I can think of...Christmas decorations too hopefully. any suggestions gratefully received.
Right now it is off to bed...lots of stitching tomorrow I hope!
Happy stitching!

Love your design wall, that really does make it easy to see what looks right and what needs to be moved around. Thanks for the design wall link.
