Advice from 1949.....

A  friend of mine called Marg sent this to me and it is just such good advice (LOL!!!!!) that I have to share it with you so you are all well prepared when you next sit down to sew!

I am sorry but no lipstick and powder happening here!

Yesterday I finally finished my RAEME quilt top.  Today I all but finished the back but I have to trim it so decided not to photograph that.  I am really pleased with this.  It came up so much better than I thought.  I wish I could get more of these flag panels but they are about $10 each and that is a bit much to buy many when you are making as many donated quilts as I am !  Still they make a cool quilt for a soldier.
Tonight's job is cutting out the next quilt - my water quilt for the chaplain and then tomorrow hopefully layering this one and a bunch of others.

Till next time...................happy stitching!
