Not much time to do things today - all those boring life things like grocery shopping, errands (teenagers with new phones that won't connect to the Internet - aagghh!!!) got in the way as happens sometime. Oh well, such is life. I have managed to buy the fabric for the backing of Bruce's quilt but I am still not 100% convinced so no photo yet - that and I am too tired to get up and go and take another photo.
Here is a sneak peak of the next stage of planning for the backing - my new inspiration!
That is all you get for tonight.....I had to unpick and trim the off cuts from the leftover bits of the strippy border to get most of these pieces. I have one blue and some creams and tans left but apart from these scraps am out of the red and navy blues. Still I think I will have enough!
Big day tomorrow - lots of teenager taxiing, a quilt group working bee tidying the backroom where all our excess fabric and scraps are stored and then, all being well, my sewing class tomorrow night.
